As we all know, parenting can be hard.  And if you're new to it, there are so many more safety features and gadgets and whathasits than we had when I was a kid.  Heck, I remember my Mother having to tell me to sit down in the  car and not stand on the seat.  So we could all use a little guidance when it comes to kid safety.

The Kiwianis club are here to help you with that.  They've got their Kiwianis Safe Kid Daycoming up.  It's a hands on community service day, and they dedicate themselves to changing the world for the positive in a local way.  They think globally and act locally, if you will.  They're working with us all here in Sedalia to keep kids safer.  So, they're sponsoring a Child Seat Safety event.

It's an afternoon where if you bring by your car with your kid's car seat in it, and they'll check it to be sure it's hooked up properly and that all the state requirements are met.   It'll be in the front parking lot WK Chevrolet this Saturday, April 8, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. There will be games, free car seat checks, prizes, and free lunch, thanks to WK.  You can also buy a new car seat if you need one.  The first fifty kids there will get a free bike helmet.

So bring your kids and car seat down and keep the little ones safe at no cost!

Safely yours,

Behka
