Lucas Oil Speedway General Manager Danny Lorton and track flagman Mike Striegel are also continuing their passion for getting kids interested in racing in a variety of ways this year.

“Involving the kids is something that has been extremely popular and we want to continue making even bigger and better,” Lorton said in a release. “I think this is another way to spark their interest in the sport and give them a little more fun and an early taste of being involved in the sport in a safe way.”

The track is continuing its tradition of the Frogs Jr. Fan Club, the Frogs Jr. Fan Club Pit Tours where young fans get to meet drivers, take pictures, and see the race cars up close. As well as the return on Kids Power Wheel Races, where kids three to nine years old can race their battery-powered Power Wheel cars during intermission of specific race nights.
