A Knob Noster man was injured in a one-vehicle accident that occurred early Sunday morning in Johnson County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a northbound 2018 Toyota Rav 4, driven by 41-year-old Sutwig Dinney of Knob Noster, was on Highway D, north of SE 100 Road around 2:15 a.m. when the Toyota ran off the left side of the roadway and struck a utility pole.

Dinney suffered minor injuries and refused treatment on scene.

The Toyota was totaled and towed.

Knob Noster Police assisted the Patrol.

Dinney was later arrested by the Patrol at 3:23 a.m. He now faces charges of driving while intoxicated and driving while revoked. He was taken to the Knob Noster Police Department, where he was booked and released.
