The front bumper of the Chevy then struck a ditch, causing the vehicle to rotate clockwise, ejecting the driver through the windshield. The vehicle then overturned and came to rest on its wheels facing west.

Lackey was transported to Centerpoint Hospital by JCAD.

Lackey was later arrested at 1:17 a.m. for DWI, no seat belt and careless and imprudent driving.

The Chevy was totaled and towed by Tip Top Towing.
