Western Missouri Medical Center (WMMC) has announced this year’s eighth annual Ladies’ Night Out (LNO) event on Tuesday, Oct. 13, as an adaptive hybrid of virtual and in-person event due to COVID-19 precautions.

This adaptation will allow attendees to watch our keynote speaker, Dean Ohmart, WMMC’s CFO, from the comfort of their own home via Facebook Live. Dean will be speaking about two women in his life who had breast cancer, and how their very different stories had incredibly different outcomes.

To help us continue our mission of raising breast cancer awareness, 350 tickets will be available to attend the WMMC LNO “drive-thru” event between 11 am to 6 pm on Tuesday, Oct. 13, at WMMC’s Main Entrance. Ticket holders will be able to pick up their cooler tote filled with goodies from vendors and sponsors.

All ticket holders will automatically be entered into a raffle, but can be entered into additional raffles for the following:

One grand prize winner of $500 for scheduling a mammogram between Sept. 1 and Oct. 14 at 12:00 pm.

Two grand prize raffles of $250 for scheduling a mammogram between Sept. 1 and Oct. 14 at 12:00 pm.

Multiple prizes and raffle opportunities that will be revealed.

Winners of the raffles will be announced on Oct. 14 by 5 pm. Tickets will be $10 and are available now at WMMC.com/LNO.

This annual event has helped to raise breast cancer awareness for eight years and last year’s event caused 120 women to schedule their mammograms. Your support helps us continue to raise awareness even during the changes we’ve put into place due to COVID-19. Schedule your 2020-21 mammogram by calling Diagnostic Imaging Department at (660) 262-7530.

Thank you to all the sponsors for this event Jonna D. Albert Accounting & Tax LLC, Joe Good State Farm Insurance, F&C Bank, and Buzzanga’s Amoco
