LaMonte Woman Injured in Pettis County Rollover

A 52-year-old LaMonte woman was taken to the hospital after suffering injuries in a vehicle accident Monday evening.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred around 7:00, on MO-127, south of Crystal Springs Road.

A 2000 Dodge Grand Caravan swerved to miss a vehicle that was traveling on the wrong side of the road. The driver then overcorrected, which caused the Dodge to cross the center line, and travel off the left side of the roadway. The Dodge then struck a ditch, overturned, then struck a utility pole, and finally came to rest on its top.

The driver, 52-year-old Sandra M. Boals, of LaMonte, suffered moderate injuries in the accident. She was taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center, by PCAD, for treatment.

According to the report, the Dodge Grand Caravan was totaled.
