I have always been a food truck person.  I am always amazed at the quality of food that can come out of a truck that is only about 20 feet long.  So imagine my excitement when one parked themselves in the parking lot behind Tiger Coffee on Limit Ave.  Talk about a short walk!  Do any of you know about Local Eats & Sweets LLC? Lets learn a bit about them.

The above flyer was located at our front desk.  They will be located in the parking lot behind Tiger Coffee until the 12th, and then they will randomly pop up around town and they are available for private events. Local Eats & Sweets offers a variety of fresh and delicious homestyle meals, desserts and ice creams that proudly showcase locally sourced seasonal ingredients.

They are open for breakfast and lunch.  For lunch I decided on a simple bacon cheeseburger and the buffalo chicken dip with pita chips.  The dip was fabulous, and the pita chips were fresh.  Cheeseburger was fine, and they had fresh toppings outside in a caddy outside the truck, with fresh tomatoes, lettuce, pickles and you had bottles of mustard, ketchup and BBQ sauce to add to the burger.

They handle sweets too, and hopefully I will get a chance to sample some of them in the future.  I thought the strawberries above and the cupcakes below as well as them doing cakes, may peak your interest.

I hope to try the breakfast items, and this might be a quick way to grab a bite for a slightly cheaper price before entering the Fair.  Or if you are camping on site at the Fair, grab breakfast here before they relocate.  Their August schedule is below.

They informed me that their menu changes often to share different items, so make sure to check their Facebook page HERE.  Give them a try.  It won't break your wallet and there will be lots of options.  Mike Pettis and I have tried them so far at work, thumbs up from both of us.  So if you seem them around town, tell them we sent you.
