Lone Jack Man Injured in Cass County Crash

A Lone Jack man was injured in a two-vehicle accident that occurred Christmas Eve in Cass County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a northbound 2008 Mercury, driven by 26-year-old Trayvon S. Speed of Lone Jack, was on Route E at Route VV around 7:15 p.m., when the vehicle traveled off the roadway and sideswiped a northbound 2001 Isuzu, driven by 27-year-old Jackson J. Hill of Lee's Summit.

The Mercury then overturned, coming to rest on its top.

Speed suffered moderate injuries and was transported by Pleasant Hill EMS to St. Luke's East Hospital.

The Isuzu had minor damage, while the Mercury was totaled.
