Man Dies After Shooting at Lazy Gators

A man is dead after a shooting at a popular Lake of the Ozarks bar on Saturday night.

The Camden County Sheriff’s office said the shooting was reported shortly before 11 p.m. Saturday at the Lazy Gators entertainment venue near Lake Ozark, Mo.

Authorities said a 27-year-old Black man was found shot. He was taken to a hospital where he died.

The Camden County Sheriffs Office released the name of the victim on Monday and located a third person of interest in relation to the Lazy Gators homicide. Twenty-seven year old Vonza Watson of Jefferson City was shot and killed around 11 p.m on Saturday night.

Lazy Gator's Facebook post on Sunday read "Due to some very unfortunate circumstances, Lazy Gators will open at 1pm today instead of 11am. Shady Gators is fully open in the meantime. We apologize for any inconvenience."
