Marshall Man Injured in Monday Morning Vehicle Crash

A Marshall man sustained injuries early Monday morning, in a Lafayette County vehicle accident.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the accident around 5:45 a.m., on Highway 23 at Highway 20 in Lafayette County.

A 2003 Toyota was attempting to make a left hand turn, but failed to yield to a 1996 Chevrolet.

The driver of the Toyota, 33-year-old Gilma Martinez, of Marshall suffered moderate injuries in the accident. According to the report, Martinez was seeking his own treatment.

The driver of the Chevy, 43-year-old Clark E. Thomas, was not listed as injured.
