A Moberly woman was injured at Lake of the Ozarks on Sunday afternoon.

The incident happened around 3 p.m. according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, at the 6.2 mile marker of Indian Creek Cove (Rocky Mount).

A 2000 28-foot Chaparral, driven by 53-year-old Thomas E. Sanders of Moberly, traveled over a wake, which caused both occupants of the vessel to become airborne, then strike the vessel.

47-year-old Robyn L. Calicott of Moberly suffered serious injuries, and was transported to Lake Regional Hospital by ambulance. 21-year-old Ryleigh E. Sanders of Springfield, suffered minor injuries, and refused treatment at the scene.
