MoDOT Announces Brush-cutting on Route Y in Johnson County

MoDOT will be closing one lane of Route Y in Johnson County for brush-cutting operations from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. this week, Dec. 26-29.

This will not be a complete closure, but will require lane closures. All work is weather permitting.

Tue., Dec. 26 – Wed., Dec. 27
Crews will be conducting brush-cutting operations on Route Y from 671SE to 871SE

Thurs., Dec. 28 – Fri., Dec. 29
Crews will be conducting brush-cutting operations on Route Y from 871SE to 921SE

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
