New Water Main Work Noted by City Of Sedalia

South Grand Avenue from West 15th Street and West 16th Street and West 16th Street to West 18th Street will be closed from 6 p.m. Thursday, July 29 until 6 a.m. on Friday July, 30, to allow for new water mains to be tied into the City’s water distribution system.

The east-west portion of the intersection of W. 16th St. and S. Grand Avenue will remain open throughout this process.

Water service to residences along South Grand Avenue from West 14th Street to West 20th Street will be off for a period of time during the tie-in process.

The exact time of water outage is not known, but plans are to have water restored by 6 a.m. Friday morning.

This work is weather and equipment dependent and as such may be affected by inclement weather or equipment breakdowns.
