Non-motorized Boats Now Allowed At Clover Dell Lake

Sedalia Parks & Rec has announced that in partnership with the Missouri Conservation Department, non-motorized boats are now allowed in Clover Dell Lake.

“We are so excited for families to go explore Clover Dell Lake in canoes and kayaks. Sedalia Parks & Rec's maintenance crew was a huge part in helping us make this happen by clearing out brush for visitors to be able to easily put a boat in the water,” Savannah Lynde, special events and marketing coordinator, said in a press release on Thursday.

“While we are excited for this change, we highly encourage you to stay safe and wear lifejackets/safety gear while exploring or fishing in your boat. This change is effective immediately,” said Lynde.
