One Block of Engineer Restricted to Single Lane Thursday morning

Evergy has notified the City of Sedalia that on Thursday, June 10 beginning at 6 a.m. and continuing through 10 a.m., South Engineer Avenue will be restricted to one lane of traffic between East Broadway (U.S. Highway 50) and East 9th Street to allow for electric utility work in the area.

Travelers may want to plan on using an alternate route during this period as South Engineer (next to Salvation Army) will be narrowed down to a single lane, the City said on Wednesday afternoon.

The work is weather and equipment dependent and as such may be affected by inclement weather or equipment breakdowns.
