On Thursday night, Sedalia Police initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle with a defective headlamp near Johnson and Missouri.

The passenger fled from the vehicle after the vehicle was stopped, but was later apprehended by Officers.

William R. Taylor Sr., 49, of Sedalia, had two Pettis County warrants; one for Burglary in the 2nd Degree and the other for Possession of Methamphetamine.

Taylor was transported and booked into the Pettis County jail on the two warrants and a felony count of Resisting Arrest pending charges from the Pettis County Prosecutor.

Bond was set at $15,000.
