Patriotic Kid’s Parade Thursday at the Johnson County Courthouse

We know what a lot of us will be doing on Thursday night. Probably attending one of the area fireworks shows, or having our own fireworks show in the driveway or backyard. But what about the daytime? If you've got kids or grandkids in the area, The Patriotic Children's Parade in Warrensburg might be the answer.

Kids are asked to decorate their bicycles, tricycles, wagons and yes, even themselves, in a patriotic theme for the Patriotic Children's Parade in Warrensburg on Thursday July 4 from 9:30AM CDT - 11:00AM CDT. There will be prizes awarded.

Additionally, there will be free bounce houses, face painting, games and more before and after the parade.

The parade steps off from the Johnson County Courthouse at 10:00AM CDT. This event is sponsored by Warrensburg Main Street, Inc. and Warrensburg Parks and Recreation. There is no need to register for the event and there is no registration costs either.
