Jane's Addiction frontman Perry Farrell will release a new album, Kind Heaven, on June 7. It will be his first solo record since 2001's Song Yet to Be Sung.

You can check out the first single, "Pirate Punk Politician," below. Farrell told Rolling Stone the song is “a good old-fashioned protest song about today’s strongmen and their tactics of oppression.”

Produced by longtime David Bowie collaborator Tony Visconti, Kind Heaven features guest appearances by Tommy Lee, Taylor Hawkins of the Foo Fighters, the Cars' Elliot Easton, Dhani Harrison and many more in a group he's calling the Kind Heaven Orchestra.

You can check out the track listing below.

Kind Heaven is also the name of Farrell's latest business venture, a $90 million destination at the LINQ Promenade in Las Vegas whose opening will correspond with the album's release.

Its website promises to bring visitors "to a new world where they will encounter the best of Southeast Asian culture, art, music, food and fashion via state-of-the-art multi-sensory technology on location and online. ... Kind Heaven is the first ever genuine ‘all senses’ communal experience, where guests will engage with extraordinary sights, sounds, touch, tastes and smells, as well as experience danger, mystery, intrigue, inspiration and spiritual enlightenment as they choose their own journey and are immersed in the magic of discovery again and again."

"Every concept I’ve ever had began with music as its bedrock," Farrell said in a press release. "Jane's Addiction, Lollapalooza and now Kind Heaven. I am energized by my partnership with BMG and their commitment to my music, and to powering it with state of the art technology. Kind Heaven is mixed in Dolby Atmos, Binaurally and, of course, in Stereo.”

"Perry Farrell has been a groundbreaking force in rock culture for three decades," noted Fred Casimir of BMG. “With Lollapalooza he has been a pioneer in creating new music-based experiences. With Kind Heaven, Perry is now taking things on to another level and we are delighted to partner with him on this extraordinary album.”

Farrell has also lined up a North American tour between June 7 in New York and June 25 in Toronto, with most of the dates, listed below, taking place in the Northeast. Tickets go on sale April 5 at 10AM local time; all ticket purchases will come with a digital download of Kind Heaven.
