Pettis County Announces Road Closure in Smithton

Beginning June 15, and through July 10, Florence Road in Smithton will be closed from Smithton East Road south to Fry Road to prepare  for chip & seal surface.

Florence Road will be closed daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

In the evening hours, the road will be open to single-lane use and is expected to have heavy truck traffic, according to Dana Yeater, Pettis County Highway Department.
