Pettis County Sheriff’s Reports For August 12, 2022

Thursday evening, Pettis County Deputies were dispatched to the 19000 block of McCurdy Road in Pettis County for a report of a dog bite. Deputies made contact with the victim in the case, and the dog owner. A dog bite report was completed, and will be sent to the Pettis County Health Department. No charges have been filed at the time of the report.
On the afternoon of August 9th, Pettis County Deputies observed Richard D. Card driving a lawn mower down 4th Street (the report did not specify East or West 4th Street). A check of Card's license found he had a revoked driving status. Pettis County Deputies arrested Card and transported him to the Pettis County Jail. Card was placed on a 24 hour hold for felony Driving While Revoked, as charges are pending with the Pettis County Prosecutor's Office.
