This is a compilation of reports released by the Pettis County Sheriff's Office:

On Wednesday, 39-year-old Amber Smith of Sedalia reported to the Pettis County Sheriff's Office that someone entered her residence and stolen her mother's medication.


 

On Aug. 3, Pettis County Deputies took a property damage report at 1405 Elm Hills Blvd. Investigation revealed that someone damaged five of the west-side windows at a trailer parked on Lot #23. The damage appeared to have been caused by a BB gun. Estimate of the damage was around $800.


 

On Aug. 3 at 4:38 p.m., Pettis County Deputies took a missing person report at 28925 Highway M. A woman stated that her husband left the residence sometime around midnight to go to the Veterans Hospital in Columbia. His appointment was at 9 a.m. He never showed up at his appointment. While the deputy was typing up his report, he was contacted by the Daviess County Sheriff's Office in Iowa. They said they were with the missing man, and that he was confused, but otherwise okay.


 

On Aug. 3 at 3:03 p.m., Pettis County Deputies responded to 26289 Goodwill Chapel Road on a subject with a warrant for stealing. The suspect was taken into custody.


 

On Aug. 3 at 3:30 p.m, a Pettis County Deputy was on patrol in the area of Market and North Grand in Sedalia, when he located a white male identified as Jeffrey R. Stone, who was wanted on a 96-hour detention warrant. Stone was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail.


 

On Saturday, July 31 at 4:35 p.m., a woman reported to the Pettis County Sheriff's Office that she has an Ex-Parte Order on her husband. She stated that her husband texted her photos of her family. The photos were copied from her Facebook page.
