This is a compilation of reports released by the Pettis County Sheriff's Office:

On June 11, Pettis County Deputies responded to the 400 block of South Walnut in La Monte for a report of a stolen vehicle. Deputies gathered information and an investigation is ongoing.


 

On June 9 around 4:15 p.m., a deputy on patrol in the area of Smasal Road and Highway U located a white VW Touareg parked along Garrett and Smasal Road facing north in the roadway, causing a traffic hazard. The vehicle had two different license plates. The deputy ran the plates and neither checked back to the VW. Dispatch ran the VIN and the registered owner was contacted. The owner said they sold the vehicle and were not aware of who owned it now. Don's Towing was called and the VW was removed from the scene.


 

On June 9, Pettis County Deputies conducted a vehicle stop near 16th and Missouri in Sedalia for a traffic violation. The driver, Justin R. Kinsler of Lincoln, was arrested for operating a motor vehicle without a valid license and transported to the Pettis County Jail.


 

On June 8, Pettis County Deputies arrested 36-year-old Maurice L. Ward of Sedalia on a failure to appear warrant for Resisting Arrest out of Johnson County.


 

On June 8, Pettis County Deputies responded to Budget Inn, 4710 South Limit, on a report of two subjects fighting outside. After investigation, deputies arrested Cameron R. Feher for property damage.


 

On June 6, Pettis County Deputies took a report at 18565 Fristoe Road involving theft, property damage and trespassing. The reporting party, Clara Blaylock, said that someone known to her entered her property and removed a trailer with items that belonged to her.
