This is a compilation of reports released by the Pettis County Sheriff's Office:

On May 7, Pettis County Deputies conducted a traffic stop near Highways 50 and 65 on a vehicle failing to drive on the right half of the roadway. The driver, Harley Harper of Freeman, Mo., was arrested on a failure to appear warrant out of Henry County. Ms. Harper was subsequently charged with driving while intoxicated, prior offender. She was transported to the Pettis County Jail.


 

Late Thursday night, Pettis County Deputies took a burglary report at Budget Inn, 4710 South Limit, in which a PlayStation PS4 and a black backpack went missing between 8:50 and 10 p.m. There is one suspect with no other leads at the time of the report.


 

On May 6 at 6:45 p.m., while on patrol in the area 1305 East Boonville Road in Sedalia, a deputy was flagged down by a female, who said her nine-year-old son was hit by a 16-year-old male. Contact was made with both parties, and a juvenile referral was completed and forward to the Juvenile Office.


 

On May 6, Pettis County Deputies took a report involving stealing that took place in the 29000 block of Oak Ridge Road.


 

On May 5, Pettis County Deputies took a report of a stolen ATV from the 11000 block of Alexander Road.


 

On May 5 at 9:33 p.m., Pettis County Deputies stopped a Ford Explorer for a registration violation. A passenger in the vehicle, Matthew W. Jones, was found to have a Pettis County warrant for violation of a protection order for $1500 cash or surety. Jones was taken to the Pettis County Jail.


 

On May 4, Pettis County Deputies arrested 39-year-old Christopher D. Cowles of Sedalia, on a Pettis County warrant in the 1800 block of East 7th. The warrant was for failure to appear on an original charge of littering. Bond on the warrant was $400 cash only. Cowles was transported to the Pettis County Jail.


 

On May 3, Pettis County Deputies took a report of a violations of a full order of protection.


 

On May 2 around 7 a.m., Pettis County Deputies took a report of a motor vehicle accident at Highway 65 and Sacajawea Road.
