Portion of Route 23 in JoCo Impassable Due to Flooding

According to the Johnson County EMA, Route 23 is closed between county roads NE 950 and NE 1125 due to water over the road in the Blackwater Bottoms.

Work is currently being done to try to get the water off the roadway. This road is expected to be open again by 3 p.m.

Please remember if you see water over any roadway, do NOT drive through it. Even a little bit of water can be dangerous.
