Really Mother Nature…Now You Want It To Rain?

It's amazing how the forecast can change so quickly when it's time for the Missouri State Fair. It's no different in 2019.

We haven't had any measurable amounts of rain in the Sedalia/Warrensburg area since late last week, and now the forecast for the next five days calls for rain each day and night. How much precipitation we will get is yet to be seen.

Here's the forecast  through Monday from the National Weather Service:

A chance of showers and thunderstorms, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 2pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 83. West southwest wind 3 to 6 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
