A Pilot Grove man was injured in a rollover wreck that occurred in Pettis County Monday afternoon.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 22-year-old Luis Mora-Lopez of Sedalia was the driver of an eastbound 2009 Nissan on Ball Road when he pulled into the path of a northbound 2007 Freightliner driven by 58-year-old Ricky W. Moore of Pilot Grove at 4:15 p.m. Monday.

The two vehicles collided, and after the impact, the Frieghtliner traveled off the right side of the roadway and overturned.

Moore was taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center by ambulance for treatment of minor injuries, while Mora-Lopez was reportedly uninjured.

The Freightliner was totaled and towed from the scene, while the Nissan had extensive damage and was also towed. Both driver were wearing a safety device, according to the report.

Pettis County deputies assisted the Patrolmen at the scene.

Mora-Lopez was arrested at 4:43 p.m. and charged with DWI, no valid driver's license and failure to yield. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail, where he was booked and released.
