A six-run fifth inning led Sacred Heart Gremlins baseball to an 11-1 victory over Osceola (3-13) on Friday in the first round of the Class 2, District 10 baseball tournament.

Sacred Heart’s bats were led by Zaine Dover, Lucas Martin, Cody Damlo and Alex Karigan, all sending runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.

Dover was the winning pitcher for Sacred Heart. He allowed four hits and one run over five innings, striking out seven. Guerin took the loss for Osceola. He went four innings, allowing five runs on four hits and striking out five.

Zaine Dover also helped himself out at the plate going 2-for-3 with a double to lead the Gremlins in hits.

Number three seed Sacred Heart (10-7) will face off with number two seed Lincoln (10-7) for a third time this season on Monday at 6 p.m. at Skyline High School in the district semi-finals.
