Say Goodbye to Summer at Liberty Pool

Sedalia residents and kids have one last opportunity to enjoy pool time and say goodbye to summer at Liberty Pool this weekend. With kids back in school the pool is closed until Saturday. However, there are plenty of opportunities to squeeze one last swim in over Labor Day weekend.

Pool Hours are as follows:

• Saturday August 31. Adult swim 11:00AM-11:50AM CDT. Open swim 12Noon -7PM CDT.
• Sunday September 1. Adult swim 11:00AM -12:50PM CDT. Open swim 1:00PM - 6:00PM CDT.
• Sunday September 2. Audult swin 11:00AM -12:50PM CDT. Open swim 1:00PM - 6:00PM CDT.

Admission will be half price, as well as concessions!

If your pup loved the other Doggie Dive hosted by Sedalia Parks and Rec you have another opportunity to bring your dog to the pool. Liberty Pool will be open for their Doggie Dive from 6PM - 8PM CDT. Cost is $5 per dog and proof of current vaccinations is required. For more details on the Doggie Dive click here.

It's early yet, but if you're looking for one last hot weekend to bake in the sun and swim you may not get it. The 10 day forecast from weather.com says it'll be mostly sunny and pleasant with a high around 75. That might be warm enough for the kids, but I suspect many adults may just choose to enjoy the sunshine poolside! Of course it's Missouri, wait 10 minutes and  the weather will change.
