On Tuesday, Aug. 10, at 6:30 hours, detectives with the Crime Resolution Unit and uniformed patrol officers responded to 1815 South Lamine Avenue to serve a no-knock drug related search warrant.

At the residence, entry was forced through the front door where contact was made with two adults inside. A male and female subject were taken into custody without incident..

K9 Charlie was deployed within the residence and provided a positive alert to the presence of illegal drugs. A detailed search was conducted where methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia items were located.

At the conclusion of the investigation, the female suspect, 33-year-old Amy R. Wright was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail.

State charges of possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance (methamphetamine), possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia are being sought, according to a facebook post by Sedalia Police on Wednesday.
