At approximately 11 a.m. Thursday, the Pettis County Sheriffs Office, with assistance from The Mid-Missouri Drug Task Force and Miller County SWAT, served a search warrant in the 1200 block of South Carr Ave reference alleged drug activity.

This warrant was the result of a Pettis County Deputy conducting a drug investigation/interdiction stop.

Intelligence was gathered by the Task Force, Pettis County SO, and SPD, which culminated in the issuance of a valid search warrant and the seizure of methamphetamine and fentanyl during warrant service.

Two individuals are in custody pending formal charges. Sedalia Codes Enforcement and Animal Control also responded to the scene for assistance.

Sheriff Brad Anders said in a facebook post that “This is an excellent example of inter-agency cooperation and law enforcement’s attempt to make Pettis County and Sedalia a safer place to live for all. I want to publicly thank everyone involved in the operation; your dedication and sacrifice do not go unnoticed.”
