Sedalia Area Habitat For Humanity Now Accepting Applications

The Sedalia Area Habitat for Humanity is now accepting applications for the selection process of a new Habitat for Humanity home.

If you or someone you know is in need of housing, is willing to partner with Habitat for Humanity, and would thrive from a zero-interest mortgage loan that is adjusted to fit their income, please submit a request to Habitat for an application.

You can do this one of three ways:

*Visit habitatsedalia.org and submit a request for a Family Selection Process under the "Own a Home" tab.

*Visit Habitat's Sedalia Facebook page and send them a direct message.

*Email habitatsedalia@gmail.com

Eligibility requirements are listed on the website. Requests for applications are due by March 1.

A "Come Meet Habitat" will be held at First Baptist Church, 200 E 6th Street, Sedalia, on:

*Wednesday, March 17 at 7 p.m. Bring your applications or fill one out at the meeting.

*Sunday, March 21 at 3 p.m. Bring your applications or fill one out at the meeting.

Attendance at one of the meetings is required for eligibility, it should be noted.

Habitat will host a presentation, followed by an open floor for any questions, and refreshments for applicants and their families.
