Sedalia Man Arrested After He Exposes Himself to Officers

On Wednesday night, Sedalia Police responded to the 700 block of South Ohio Avenue in reference to a disturbance between a male and a female.

The involved parties were later located in the area of 7th Street and Massachusetts Avenue.

The suspect refused to speak with officers and walked away.

The officer followed the suspect to the area of the 600 block of South Washington Avenue.

While attempting to speak to the suspect, the suspect exposed himself to officers and threatened to urinate on them. The suspect entered then a building and locked the door behind him. Officers were not able to contact the suspect.

The suspect was later located Thursday afternoon and placed under arrest.

56-year-old Jeffrey L. Waters of Sedalia, was transported to the Pettis County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold.

Charges of 1st degree Sexual Misconduct and 4th degree Attempted Assault (Special Victim) were being requested.
