On Tuesday, Oct. 18 at approximately 7:35 p.m., Pettis County Drug Task Force detectives conducted a knock-and-talk at 2859 South Gate Loop in Sedalia.

Contact was made with 42-year-old Bryan Stevenson, at the front door and he ultimately consented to a search of his residence.

In Stevenson’s bedroom was a green Crown Royal bag with unused baggies, a bag with a crystal substance, and a digital scale. A continued search of the room revealed another bag with a crystal substance and three digital scales.

In total just over an ounce of methamphetamine (30 grams) was located in the residence. Stevenson was transported to the Pettis County Jail and later issued a warrant for delivery of a controlled substance with a bond amount of $15,000.

“This is good, pro-active work by our task force, and more dangerous substances off of our streets,” commented Sheriff Brad Anders.
