On Tuesday around 7:30 p.m., Sedalia Police responded to 2201 W. 5th Street for a domestic assault.

Upon arrival, Officers determined that two people had been assaulted and needed medical assistance.

PCAD was then contacted and the subjects were later taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center for treatment.

The suspect, 41-year-old Kevin A. Murray of the address, was still on scene.

Officers attempted to speak with Murray and de-escalate the situation.

The suspect was ultimately arrested and had to be secured in a WRAP restraint device due to combative behavior.

Murray was then taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center for a fit-for-confinement check, then on to the Pettis County Jail on a 24-hour hold.

Murray now faces seven charges, including:

*1st degree burglary
*1st degree felony domestic assault
*2nd degree domestic assault
*violation of an ex parte on a full order of protection
*unlawful use of a weapon
*armed criminal action
*4th degree assault
