Sedalia Man Injured After Motorcycle Strikes Deer

A Sedalia man was injured in a motorcycle vs deer wreck in Pettis County on Thursday night.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a westbound 2015 Harley Davidson, driven by 57-year-old Anthony A. Wilbern of Sedalia was on US 50, east of East Prairie Grove Road at 10:19 p.m., when a deer entered the roadway. After striking the deer, the Harley overturned and the driver was ejected.

Wilbern suffered moderate injuries, and was taken to Western Missouri Medical Center for treatment.

The Harley was totaled.

Pettis County deputies assisted the three Troopers on scene.
