Sedalia Man Injured When Two Dodge Rams Collide

A Sedalia man was injured Thursday night when a black Dodge Ram rear-ended another in Pettis County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a northbound black 1999 Dodge Ram, driven by 58-year-old Charles E. Heaper of Sedalia, was on US Highway 65, being followed by a northbound black 2004 Dodge Ram, driven by 20-year-old Jeriah P. Kropf of Marshall around 8:10 p.m., when Kropf's truck rear-ended Heaper's truck, just south of Bothwell Park Road.

Kropf's truck traveled off the west side of 65 into the median, while Heaper's truck came to a controlled stop on the shoulder.

Heaper suffered moderate injuries, and was transported by PCAD to Bothwell Regional Health Center for treatment.

Both vehicles had extensive damage and were towed by Don's Truck Towing and State Fair Towing.
