Sedalia Man Who Chased People With Shovel Arrested

Sedalia Police responded to the 500 block of West 5th on a disturbance Sunday evening just after 8 p.m.

Upon arrival, officers noted several subjects in the roadway, and it was determined that a man had chased several subjects with a shovel and also broke the glass out of the front door of a residence.

The suspect, 31-year-old Anthony Terrell Jones of Sedalia, was taken into custody and charged with assault, unlawful use of a weapon and 2nd degree property damage.

Jones was held at the Pettis County Jail, pending the formal filing of charges.
