On Tuesday, Aug. 11, beginning at noon, North State Fair Boulevard between West Main Street and Pro Energy Boulevard will be restricted down to one lane to allow for roadway maintenance and repair for new water lines, according to the City of Sedalia.

With the lane restriction, trucks and other wide or long loads are encouraged to find alternate routes as flagmen and heavy equipment will be present within the construction zone and delays are expected.

On Wednesday, Aug. 12,  a section of roadway will be closed to all traffic from 7 a.m. until 2 p.m. to allow for re-paving of this section of road.

Other drives into businesses will remain open. However, access will be restricted to one direction. Drivers will need to find alternate routes during this time as the road will be closed to all traffic.

The dates for the road closures were originally announced for Aug. 4-5, but was pushed back to Aug. 11-12 so that Pro Energy could access one of its entryways this week.
