Sedalia Police Investigating Case of Forged Tickets

Sedalia Police are investigating a forgery case where a suspect was allegedly duplicating and selling tickets for Rockfest. A Sedalia Police Department incident report says the suspect, who was not named, admitted to the accusations and provided information to help locate victims. Police say not all of the victims have been contacted at this time.

According to the official website for Rockfest, counterfeit tickets and VIP passes are common: "Please be sure to purchase tickets from AXS only for guaranteed entry into the festival." Official tickets are available through AXS online, or by phone at 888-929-7849 between 8 a.m.-10 p.m.

Rockfest is Saturday, June 2 at Kansas Speedway. The 2018 lineup includes acts such as Five Finger Death Punch, Stone Temple Pilots and Of Mice and Men.
