Early Thursday morning, Officers conducted a traffic stop on a gold passenger vehicle near the intersection of East 13th Street and South Summit Avenue. The driver was found to have a revoked driving status. The driver had previous convictions in the past year for DWR and a warrant for his arrest for Property Damage in the 2nd Degree. Zachary Lee Denny, 27, Homeless, was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail where he was booked in for Driving While Revoked and placed on a 24 hour hold.


 

Wednesday night, Officers were dispatched to the 1200 block of East 16th Street for a reported domestic disturbance incident. A primary physical aggressor was identified and the suspect was arrested. The suspect was taken to the BRHC for a fit for confinement check. The suspect was then transported to the Pettis County Jail. Trista Gayle Kendrick, 33, of Sedalia, was booked in for Domestic Assault in the 4th Degree and Resisting Arrest. Kendrick was placed on a 24 hour hold pending state charges.


 

Sedalia Police were dispatched to the Liberty Park, 1500 West 3rd Street Wednesday night for a report of an unattended child. Officers located the child, and then located the parents, who were actively looking for the child that had wandered off. A report was completed for documentation of the incident.


 

Sunday afternoon, Officers were dispatched to a domestic disturbance in the 2400 block of West 1st Street Terrace. After the disturbance was resolved, a 12 hour log was used to document the incident. A juvenile referral was sent to the juvenile office.


 

On the afternoon of April 22nd, Officers were dispatched to the 1700 block of South Park Avenue for a report of shots being fired and someone screaming. Upon arrival, it was determined that the call was a prank that someone on a gaming system was able to set up.


 

Sedalia Police were dispatched to the 3100 block of Erika Avenue in reference to a stolen trailer Wednesday morning. Jason Kempton reported the trailer was stolen in the overnight hours. The trailer was entered into NCIC and MULES as a stolen trailer.


 

On the evening of March 26th, Officers initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of North Ohio Avenue and East Hogan Street. The vehicle was known to be commonly driven by a subject who had an active arrest warrant. Upon contact with the driver, he was identified and confirmed to have an active federal arrest warrant issued by the ATF for a weapons offense. Zechariah Ka Lon Mon D Hoskins Ellis, 23, of Sedalia, was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail to be held with no bond on the federal warrant.
