Wednesday evening, Francisco A. Fernandez, an inmate at the Pettis County Jail, reported that his 2006 Chrysler 300 and his 2014 Ford Explorer were stolen from his residence. This occurred in the 1400 block of South Ohio Avenue between October 29th and December 15th.


 

Sedalia Police were dispatched to the area of West 7th Street and South Moniteau Avenue for a report of a subject holding their stomach and yelling Wednesday night. A juvenile appearing to be under the influence of drugs was located. The subject was taken to a hospital and their parents were contacted.


 

Late Wednesday night, an Officer made contact with an occupied vehicle parked in the 3800 block of South Limit Avenue. Through the investigation, one subject was found to be in possession of marijuana. The marijuana was seized for destruction and prosecution is not being sought.


 

Officers responded to the McDonald's restaurant, 1611 South Limit Avenue Wednesday morning for a private property accident. On arrival, Officers met with both parties involved. A computer check revealed one of the subjects had an active City of Sedalia warrant for Failure to Appear on original charges of Driving While Suspended. Payge M. Glover, 26, of Sedalia, was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail. Glover was booked on her warrant and bond was set at $60 cash only.


 

Wednesday morning, Sedalia Police were dispatched to the 1400 block of South Prospect Avenue for a report of property damage. When Officers arrived, they spoke with Amanda J. Brewer. Brewer stated that sometime overnight, someone had broken out the rear window of her vehicle, causing $200 in damage. A suspect was named but at the time of the report had not been located.


 

While on patrol Wednesday morning, Officers observed a vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed. A traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle in the area of North Limit Avenue and Eagleview Drive. Officers made contact with the driver, and checked his driving status with Dispatch. A short time later, they were notified by Dispatch that the driver had a revoked license. His wife was contacted to come and get the vehicle. Radu B. Ciobanu, 30, of Sedalia, was then taken into custody and transported to the Pettis County Jail. Ciobanu was placed on a 24 hour hold pending charges of Driving While Revoked.
