Monday evening, Officers conducted a traffic stop near the area of West Broadway Boulevard and Thompson Boulevard on a vehicle that was driving in both westbound lanes. Officers made contact with the driver and detected the odor of burnt marijuana. During the course of the investigation, it was determined the driver was intoxicated. Zechariah Ka Lon Mon D. Hoskins Ellis, 23, of Sedalia, was arrested and transported to the BRHC where a blood draw was conducted. Hoskins Ellis was then transported to the Pettis County Jail, where he was booked and released. A request for the charge of Driving While Intoxicated (Drugs) has been submitted to the prosecutor.


 

Sedalia Police responded to the Cenex store, 120 East 16th Street Tuesday evening in reference to a weapon being displayed at another person. The parties involved left the scene before Officers arrived. A general information report was made for documentation.


 

Tuesday morning, Officers spoke with Hunter Snyder on the telephone. Snyder said his iPhone was missing from the 200 block of West 13th Street. The phone has been entered into MULES/NCIC as missing.


 

Officers were dispatched to the Walgreen's store, 801 South Limit Avenue Tuesday afternoon in reference to a fraud report. The suspects used a cashapp card in an attempt to purchase prepaid Visa cards. The employees were able to void the transactions and cards to avoid any loss.


 

Tuesday morning, Officers responded to the Benitz Service Company, 2927 Clinton Road for a vehicle theft report. The complainant stated that a truck was taken in the early morning hours. The business wished to pursue charges and the vehicle was entered into NCIC/MULES as stolen.


 

Sedalia Police were dispatched to the 1700 block of West 16th Street Monday afternoon for a report of theft. Officers made contact with Gertrude Adaline Fletcher, who stated that sometime between November and Sunday, someone stole a brown leather bag from her room. Fletcher said that she was also missing $20 in cash.


 

Monday morning, Officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of South State Fair Boulevard for a report of a violation of a court order. Officers made contact with Daniel Lee Layton, who stated that he has an ex-parte against the mother of his child. Layton stated that the subject had been sending him messages that violated the court order.


 

Officers responded to the 300 block of North Heard Avenue Monday morning for a domestic violence call. Contact was made with a female subject, who reported that her juvenile sons were refusing to go to school. She stated they threatened to kill her if she tried to force them to go. A referral was made to the Pettis County Juvenile Office.


 

On the afternoon of January 20th, Officers were dispatched to a domestic disturbance in the 1900 block of South Stewart Avenue. During the course of the investigation, a 16 year old assaulted law enforcement and had to be taken into custody. The juvenile was transported to the BRHC for a mental health evaluation. A juvenile referral was made to the Pettis County Juvenile Office.


 

Monday afternoon, Officers initiated a traffic stop on a truck and trailer near North Park Avenue and West Benton Street because the trailer had no license plate. A check through Dispatch showed the driver's license was revoked. Trenton Granville Sell, 21, of Windsor, was arrested and taken to the Police Department. Sell was issued a city ticket for Driving While Revoked with a court date.


 

Sedalia Police were dispatched to the Probation and Parole Office Monday afternoon for a report of a subject that had a warrant out of Pettis County. Upon arrival, Officers made contact with the subject and ran her information through Dispatch. A warrant for Probation Violation on original charges of felony Burglary in the 1st Degree and Stealing was confirmed with bond set at $10,000 cash or surety. Clarissa Jean Elizabeth Holman, 34, of Sedalia, was placed under arrest and transported to the Pettis County Jail.


 

Monday afternoon, an Officer initiated a traffic stop on a van in the 4200 block of Wisconsin Avenue for expired registration. The Officer also recognized the driver as a person who had an active warrant. A check through Dispatch confirmed the driver had two active Sedalia Failure to Appear warrants on original charges of Expired Plates and Operating a Motor Vehicle Without Maintaining Financial Responsibility. Susan Dawn McNeal, 40, of Sedalia, was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail to be booked pending a bond of $139 cash only.


 

Tuesday morning, Officers responded to the 300 block of East 6th Street to assist Code Enforcement in clearing a residence. Officers made contact with the subjects that were staying in the house. A check through Dispatch showed one of the subjects had an active Pettis County Failure to Appear warrant on original charges of Driving While Revoked and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Floyd E. Flippin Jr., 55, of Sedalia, was arrested on his warrants. A search of Flippin's person found multiple items of drug paraphernalia. Flippin was transported to the Pettis County Jail to be booked on his warrants and an additional charge of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, pending a $250 cash only bond.


 

Sedalia Police stopped a vehicle in the 600 block of East 14th Street after observing it was improperly registered. A computer check through Dispatch revealed that the driver's Missouri driving privileges were suspended. The passenger was found to have an active warrant for her arrest. Terra Renee Flinn, 36, was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail on charges of Driving While suspended. Dana Marie Green, 34, of Sedalia, was transported to the Pettis County Jail on her Failure to Appear warrant on original charges of Driving While Suspended. Flinn was booked and released, while Green was held pending a $60 cash only bond.


 

Monday morning, Officers were dispatched to the office of Probation and Parole, 205 Thompson Boulevard, in reference to a subject who had multiple warrants. Upon arrival, Officers made contact with the suspect and ran his information through Dispatch. Dispatch confirmed the suspect had four warrants out of Pettis County for Driving While Revoked, Resisting Arrest, felony Driving While Intoxicated, and a Probation Violation warrant on original charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance. Juvintino Brenden Martinez, 31, of Sedalia, was placed under arrest and transported to the Pettis County Jail with bond set at $4,000 cash and $9,000 cash or surety.


 

Sedalia Police met with Dorothy Robertson in the 2400 block of Acker Drive who stated her identity had been stolen Monday afternoon. An unknown suspect had somehow obtained Robertson's information and unsuccessfully applied for credit devices and loans.


 

Tuesday afternoon, Officers responded to the Wal Mart store, 3201 West Broadway Boulevard for a report of a hit and run accident. Upon arrival, Officers met with Gina E. Neal, who stated her vehicle was struck while parked on the private lot. At the time of the report, the suspect has not yet been identified.


 

Officers responded to the 300 block of West Main Street for a report of property damage Monday afternoon. Contact was made with a male subject, who reported that a female subject came by his construction site and started throwing rocks at the building. One window was damaged. Amber Lorine Storm Grandstaff, 37, Homeless, was later located and arrested for Property Damage in the 1st Degree.
