Monday morning, Sedalia Police checked a residence in the 300 block of Scott Joplin Court for a subject who they had probable cause for an incident that occurred on July 8th. The subject was seen in public performing a sex act on himself. Officers located the subject, who then took off running. After a brief pursuit, the subject was captured and placed under arrest. Kevin S. Morrison, 49, of Sedalia, was arrested pending charges of Sexual Misconduct in the 1st Degree, two counts of Harassment, Resisting Arrest, and Prohibited Person in a Park.


 

Monday afternoon, an Officer was dispatched to the lobby of the Police Department in reference to a found property report. Several debit/bank cards were found in a yard and were brought to the Police Department to be turned in.
