This article is compiled from the Sedalia Police Department reports.


On the afternoon of June 12th, Officers were dispatched to the 1700 block of South Stewart Avenue in reference to a hit and run crash. Officers were told a 2009 BMW passenger vehicle was parked the previous night and was found damaged the following afternoon. The BMW was struck on the passenger's side rear end, damaging the bumper and the taillight. The case is under investigation.


 

Sunday afternoon, Officers responded to the 1100 block of West 16th Street for a report of property damage. Norman E. Bell reported the rear window of his vehicle was busted out with a rock. The value of $600 was given by Bell. At the time of the report, a suspect has not been located.

Early Wednesday morning, Officers encountered a highly intoxicated woman at the Mazzio's restaurant, 1613 South Limit Avenue. Tina Marie Swatek, 59, Homeless, was placed on safekeeping hold and transported to the Bothwell Hospital for care.


 

On the morning of June 7th, the Pettis County Children's Division contacted the Sedalia Police Department. The call was in reference to child sexual and/or physical abuse allegations in the 1300 block of South Harrison Avenue. The case was investigated, and the allegations were unfounded.
