Sunday afternoon, an Officer was dispatched to the lobby of the Police Department in reference to a found property report. James Chapman found several cards belonging to someone and brought them to the Police Department. Multiple attempts were made to find the property owner, but none were successful. The items were entered into evidence for safe keeping.


 

Officers responded to the lobby of the Police Headquarters for a report of a theft from a vehicle Sunday evening. Officers spoke with Viktor Tsymbal regarding his wallet being stolen in the 4000 block of West 32nd Street.


 

Saturday night, Officers responded to the 1300 block of South Kentucky Avenue in reference to harassment. When Officers arrived, the male suspect was not on the scene. There was no further information in the report.


 

Sedalia Police responded to the 800 block of East 13th Street for a traffic complaint Sunday night. After determining the suspect and speaking to witnesses, Garrett Charles Green, 30, of Sedalia was issued a summons for Operating a Motorcycle Without a License and Loud Noise.


 

Early Sunday morning, Officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of the McDonald's restaurant, 1611 South Limit Avenue for a vehicle that failed to maintain its lane. The driver consented to a search of the vehicle, and illegal drugs were located inside the car. Paul A. Bogle, 46, of Sedalia, was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail pending the filing of charges for Possession of a Dangerous Drug.


 

Officers responded to the area of West 16th Street and South Harrison Saturday night for a vehicle check. When Officers arrived on scene, they located a male inside the Casey's store. The male was highly intoxicated and did not have anyone to care for him. Arthur S. Prall, 51, of Sedalia, was placed under arrest for protective custody and transported to the Pettis County Jail.


 

On the night of June 13th, Officers conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of East 5th Street and South Lamine Avenue for a license violation. A passenger in the vehicle had an active warrant for her arrest. Jennifer Danelle Hollobaugh, 37, of Sedalia, was arrested for her warrant for Possession of a Controlled Substance (Hallucinogens). Hollobaugh was transported to the Pettis County Jail with a cash or surety bond of $10,000.


 

Sunday morning, Officers were dispatched to the 200 block of Tower Street in reference to a subject check. The caller said a subject was sleeping in their vehicle in the caller's front yard. A computer check of the subject showed he had an active warrant from Arkansas within extradition limits. When the warrant was confirmed active, the subject was placed under arrest. Brandon Pascual Vasquez, 25, of Sedalia, was transported to the Pettis County Jail where he was placed on a 24 hour hold pending state charges of Fugitive From Justice.


 

Sunday morning, Officers responded to the Tractor Supply Store, 3901 South Limit Avenue in regards to found stolen property. The property was returned to the owner, and a subject was arrested at the scene. The subject was found to be in possession of controlled substances and a weapon. Joshua L. Miller, 36, of Warsaw, was transported to the Pettis County Jail to be booked and held for 24 hours. Charges of Possession of a Dangerous Drug, Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Unlawful Possession of a Concealable Weapon, Receiving Stolen Property and Possession of Marijuana are being submitted to the Pettis County Prosecutor.


 

Sedalia Police were dispatched to the 800 block of East 24th Street for a report of theft Friday morning. Upon arrival, Officers met with Yuriy Limanskiy, who stated that sometime between 3:00 p.m. on June 17th and that morning, someone broke into his tool trailer and stole approximately $4,600 worth of tools.


 

On the night of June 19th, Officers responded to the 1900 block of South Missouri Avenue for a report of a missing person. Officers made contact with Erica Lynn McGaugh and collected information on the missing individual who was then entered as missing.


 

Friday evening, Officers conducted a warrant check in the 200 block of East 13th Street. The subject fled on foot as Officers arrived, and was arrested after a brief foot pursuit. Robert Paddon Bower, 36, of Sedalia, had an active probation and parole warrant as well was felony Failure to Appear warrants on original charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Driving While Revoked, and Possession of Marijuana. Charges of Resisting Arrest are also being submitted to the prosecutor.


 

Sedalia Police responded to the 1200 block of South Garfield Street for a theft report Friday evening. Matthew Stephen Nielsen reported that someone entered his garage and took items from it. A report was taken and the incident was documented.


 

In the early morning hours of June 16th, a report was made at the Police Department of an alleged assault that occurred in the 400 block of West 7th Street. It was reported to Officers the subject was slapped on the arm by a known individual. The case is under investigation.


 

Friday morning, Officers were dispatched to the area of South Limit and West 16th Street for a report of a hit and run accident. Upon arrival, Officers made contact with Diana L. Goyette, who stated that a vehicle struck her vehicle and then left the scene without providing any of his information.


 

Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle near the intersection of West 2nd Street and South Grand Avenue Friday afternoon. Officers could detect the odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. After a search of the vehicle, the marijuana was found inside. Alberto Cano, 24, of Sedalia, was arrested at the scene and taken to the Pettis County Jail to be booked and released pending charges of Possession of Marijuana.


 

Friday afternoon, Officers conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of East Broadway Boulevard and East 12th Street. A computer check of the driver showed that his driver's license was suspended. Donald E. Cunningham, 31, of Smithton, was issued a citation for Driving While Suspended with a court date.


 

Sedalia Police responded to the 700 block of West Main Street in regards to a burglary no longer in progress Friday morning. Evidence was taken at the scene, and submitted to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crime lab.


 

Friday morning, Officers were dispatched to the 2000 block of East 14th Street in reference to a harassment report. The complainant said a neighbor threatened to kill him. A court summons for Public Peace Disturbance was issued to Arron C. Ray, 30, of Sedalia.


 

An Officer was dispatched to the 1300 block of East 11th Street Saturday morning in reference to a theft report. Bryan Calvert said his son stole a generator and pawned it. The case was referred to the prosecutor's office.


 

Friday morning, Sedalia Police were dispatched to the 1500 block of West 3rd Street for a theft report. Officers made contact with the complainant, who stated someone pried open a door and gained entry to a concession stand. At the time of the report, it was not known if anything was actually taken.


 

Friday afternoon, Officers were dispatched to the area of East 16th Street and South Kentucky Avenue for a reported disturbance with weapons. Dispatch advised that both parties were in two different vehicles, and one pointed a weapon at the other. Officers arrived on the scene and spoke with the victim. She stated that the suspect had been tailgating her while driving down 16th Street. She stated that she pulled over to let the suspect drive by, and the suspect pulled up along her, stopped, and pointed a weapon at her and her family. The victim stated that she pulled her phone up to call the Police, and the suspect left the area. The suspect vehicle was not able to be located at the time of the report.


 

Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop on a red van in the area of West 5th Street and South State Fair Boulevard for not using its turn signal. Officers made contact with the driver, informed him of the reason of the stop, and asked for his ID and insurance. The driver provided his information, and a computer check was completed. Dispatch stated the driver was revoked out of Missouri. Christopher L. Baker, 52, of Windsor, was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail, where he was booked and released pending a state charge of Driving While Revoked.
