Tuesday morning, Officers responded to the area of East 13th Street and South Hancock Avenue for a motor vehicle crash involving three vehicles. At the completion of the investigation, it was determined the driver of one of the vehicles had a suspended driver's license from the state of Kansas. Gregory J. Faust, 57, of Sedalia, was arrested for Driving While Suspended and later released with a court date.


 

Sedalia Police responded to the 1900 block of South Harrison Avenue for a warrant check Tuesday evening. When Officers arrived, they spoke to a female at the residence. The female eventually stated the wanted male was inside. Tyler R. Saunders, 24, of Sedalia, was placed under arrest without incident for his two active Failure to Appear warrants on original charges of felony Property Damage in the 1st Degree and felony Resisting Arrest. Saunders was transported to the Pettis County Jail with no bond on his warrants.


 

On the night of June 24th, Officers conducted a traffic stop in the parking lot of the Bothwell Regional Health Center, 601 East 14th Street, for a license violation. The driver in the vehicle was found to be in possession of methamphetamine. Due to a medical emergency, the driver was released from the scene, but charges are being requested.


 

Monday evening, Sedalia Police took a report from Kali Lynn Colgan in the lobby of the Police Department in regards to harassment involving juvenile subjects. A juvenile referral was completed over the incident.


 

Officers took a report of forgery at the Lend Nation, 818 South Limit Avenue, Tuesday afternoon. The amount stolen was $812.68 from a forged check.


 

Tuesday afternoon, Officers responded to the area of South Massachusetts Avenue and East Broadway Boulevard in reference to a three vehicle accident. During the investigation, Officers learned one of the drivers was revoked in the state of Missouri. Nikolay Boyko, 51, of Green Ridge, was subsequently issued a municipal citation for Driving While Revoked with a court date.


 

Sedalia Police were dispatched to a disturbance at the Cenex Gas Station, 120 East 16th Street Tuesday morning. There was a disagreement between the owner and a patron about a payout from the slot machines. The issue was determined to be a civil matter, and both were referred to civil court to settle the dispute.


 

Tuesday morning, Officers took a report over the phone of theft of utilities that occurred in the 1400 block of West 11th Street. The suspect was located. Kevin Louis Hanson, 52, of Sedalia, was issued a summons for Theft Of Utilities with a court date.
