Tuesday morning, Officers responded to the Domino's restaurant, 3200 South Limit Avenue, in reference to a dog bite. Officers spoke with Kevin Rohr. Rohr stated he was delivering pizza to a residence in the 1400 block of South Prospect Avenue when a dog came up and bit him on the hand.


 

Monday night, Officers were dispatched to the 400 block of East Howard Street to investigate a disturbance in progress. When Officers arrived, they located the suspect. When making contact with him, the suspect became aggressive and tried to walk away. Officers identified the subject and discovered he had a Sedalia municipal Failure to Appear warrant on original charges of Operating A Motor Vehicle on the Highway While Suspended. Brandon Louis Srader, 41, of Sedalia, was arrested on his warrant and detained without issue. Srader was then taken to the Pettis County Jail to be booked in, pending a $100 cash only bond.


 

Sedalia Police were dispatched to assist with a traffic stop in the area of North Ohio Avenue and North Missouri Avenue Wednesday morning. During the course of the investigation, it was determined the driver was intoxicated. Ismael Tamayo Lopez, 25, of Sedalia, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated. Lopez was issued a UTT for DWI and released to a sober driver.


 

Officers attempted to stop a vehicle near North Engineer Avenue and East Saline Street Monday night, after Officers observed the vehicle make an improper turn and run a stop sign. The vehicle fled through alleys and yards to get away. While in the area, Officers located the vehicle and the driver was arrested. Virgil Andrew Edgar Jr., 29, of Sedalia, was arrested for Careless Driving and Resisting Arrest. Edgar was transported to the Pettis County Jail and the vehicle was towed from the scene.

Tuesday night, Officers responded to the 700 block of North Grand Avenue in reference to an assault that had occurred previously. Officers spoke with Lindsey R. Keeling, who stated a subject jumped out of a vehicle in the 400 block of West Pettis and assaulted her while she was walking down the road. The suspect has not been identified at this time.


 

Sedalia Police responded to the intersection of West Broadway Boulevard and South Prospect Avenue Tuesday afternoon in reference to a motor vehicle crash with injuries. Investigation revealed an eastbound Chevrolet Cavalier struck the rear of a stopped Chevrolet Impala. The impact caused the Impala to move forward and strike the rear of a minivan. The minivan then fled the scene without providing information. At the time of the report, it has not yet been identified.


 

Tuesday afternoon, Officers responded to the 1600 block of Heck Avenue in reference to a hit and run accident. Upon arrival, Officers met with Margaruiette Kinyon, who stated their vehicle was struck while parked on Heck Avenue in front of the residence. The striking vehicle left the scene and has not been identified at this time.


 

Tuesday afternoon, a female came into the lobby of the Police Department to report she was being harassed in the 900 block of Westwood Avenue. A report was completed.


 

An Officer was dispatched to the Sedalia Housing Authority, 400 Robinson Court, in reference to suspicious circumstances Tuesday morning. The incident was documented using a general information report.


 

Sedalia Police were dispatched to a theft that occurred in the 2700 block of Brandon Avenue. Christopher W. Tyler reported several metal decorations in his front yard were missing.


 

Monday afternoon, Officers were dispatched to the 1300 block of Montgomery Circle in reference to a civil dispute. The incident was documented using a general information report.


 

Sedalia Police conducted a vehicle stop near the intersection of West 18th and South Beacon Avenue Monday evening. The driver had two active Pettis County Failure to Appear warrants on original charges of Driving While Intoxicated and Open Container. Roel Gonzalez, 22, of Sedalia, was arrested on the warrants as well as new charges of Driving While Suspended and No Proof of Insurance. Gonzalez was held at the Pettis County Jail pending a $200 cash only bond.
