Late Monday night, Officers responded to the American Inn, 1217 South Limit Avenue, for a reported physical disturbance between two males. Upon arrival, the two male subjects were located and identified to Dispatch. One of the males was found to have an active Pettis County warrant on an original charge of Assault in the 3rd Degree. Jared W. Sanders, 40, of Sedalia, was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail. Sanders was provided a bond of $1,500 cash or surety with a court date.


 

Sedalia Police were dispatched to the Police Station lobby for a report of parental kidnapping Monday morning. Sterling Fitts reported that his children had been taken by their mother to an unknown location. Fitts stated that he has been trying to get into contact with her and hasn't been able to do so.


 

Sunday evening, Officers responded to the 400 block of North Park Avenue in reference to a burglary no longer in progress. An Officer made contact with Richard Ramey, who stated that some time in the last week, his residence had been burglarized. There are no suspects at this time.


 

Sedalia Police took a report in the lobby of the Police Station in regards to found property Monday morning. Items were found in a City of Sedalia Parks and Recreation truck at the Wal Mart store, 3201 West Broadway Boulevard. The items were turned into the Police and added to found property.


 

Officers responded to the 500 block of East 4th Street for a report of a disturbance Monday morning. Contact was made with a male subject, that was discovered to be violation of a full order of protection. Joseph Elmer Fore, 38, Homeless, was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail for a 24 hour hold.
