Early Monday morning, Officers responded to the Casey's store, 716 West 16th Street, in reference to a theft. Officers identified parties involved and ran their information through Dispatch. It was then confirmed that one male subject had a warrant out of Warrensburg. Knathen M. Jedrzejewski, 29, of Leeton, was arrested on his Failure to Appear warrant on original charges of Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia out of Johnson County. Jedrzejewski was transported to the Pettis County Jail and booked on his warrant with a $200 cash only bond.


 

Officers responded to the 300 block of East Saline Street Sunday morning in reference to a physical disturbance. The victim stated that a female subject tried to enter her vehicle and began hitting it. The victim drove off, and the suspect suffered minor injuries but began harassing the victim. The suspect was identified and treated at the Bothwell Regional Health Center. Christie Lynn Petree, 29, of Sedalia, was released from the hospital and arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail. Petree was booked and released pending state charges of Harassment and Tampering in the 2nd Degree.


 

Sunday night, Officers stopped a vehicle in the area of East 3rd Street and South Brown Avenue for a registration violation. The driver was found to have a traffic warrant for Failure to Appear out of Boone County. Petro Ivanovich Georgiyev, 66, of Sedalia, arrested, transported to the Pettis County Jail, and booked on his warrant for Failure to Appear on original charges of Operating a Carrier Vehicle with Defective Equipment. Bond was set at $150 cash only.


 

Sedalia Police Officers were dispatched to the 800 block of East Broadway Boulevard Saturday morning for a violation of a court order. Officers made contact with Kyli McAdams, who stated that her ex has been threatening her via text message. He was reported to be outside of the residence prior to Officers arrival, but he was not located. The report will be sent to the state prosecutor requesting the charges of Violation of a Court Order and Harassment.


 

Sunday afternoon, Officers responded to the Wal Mart store, 3201 West Broadway Boulevard, for a reported theft. Maribel Madrid, 39, of Sedalia, was interviewed and issued a municipal summons for Stealing for failing to scan a number of items when checking out.


 

Sedalia Police performed a warrant check near the 2400 block of West 2nd Street Terrace Sunday afternoon. A check through Dispatch showed a subject did have a Pettis County warrant with a $1,500 cash or surety bond. Cody Wade Hayworth, 27, of Sedalia, was arrested for his Failure to Appear warrant on original charges of Operating a Motor Vehicle on the Highway Without a License. Hayworth was transported to the Pettis County Jail to be booked.


 

Sunday afternoon, Officers responded to the 1000 block of West 3rd Street for a theft report. John Cole said his license plate was stolen off of his vehicle sometime between October 16th and the afternoon of October 24th. He wished to pursue charges.


 

Sedalia Police were dispatched to an assist agency call at the Family Pawn store, 2805 West Broadway Boulevard Saturday morning. A firearm that was stolen out of Sugar Creek Missouri was recovered at the pawn shop.


 

Saturday afternoon, Officers responded to the 200 block of West Avenue for a burglary report. Jason Vansel said that sometime between the evening of October 21st and when he got home on October 23rd, someone entered his home and stole money from the residence. Vansel wished to pursue charges.


 

Officers initiated a traffic stop Sunday morning on a vehicle that disregarded the signal light at West Broadway Boulevard and South Grand Avenue. A check through Dispatch showed the driver did not have a valid license. Juan Aguare Yat, 27, of Sedalia, arrested and taken to the Police Department. Aguare Yat was issued a city ticket for Operating a Vehicle Without a Valid License and Disobeying a Signal Light.


 

Sedalia Police were dispatched to the Woods Express store, 703 East Broadway Boulevard, Saturday afternoon in reference to a property damage report. The employees stated that someone had spray painted a heart on the building.


 

Sunday morning, Officers stopped a vehicle near the intersection of West 5th Street and South Vermont Avenue for having a defective brake light. A computer check of the driver's information showed that his Missouri driving privileges had been suspended. Shannon D. Stockwell, 43, of Sedalia, was issued a summons for Driving While Suspended with a court date.


 

On the afternoon of October 10th, Officers were dispatched to the 300 block of North Harding Avenue regarding the theft of two tires. Crystal Gail Vansel, 44, of Sedalia, was arrested by Pettis County Deputies in the 300 block of West Clay Street in Smithton. Vansel was booked and released pending the filing of charges for Stealing Motor Vehicle Parts and Trespassing in the 1st Degree. John W. Sant Jr., 40, of Sedalia, was located and arrested in the area of North Grand Avenue and William Parkhurst Drive. Sant was also booked and released pending the filing of charges for Trespassing in the 1st Degree and Stealing Motor Vehicle Parts.


 

Friday afternoon, Officers were dispatched to Wood Cabinets, 2925 West Main Street, for a burglary report. David Metz reported that days before, someone damaged property at the business and stole items inside it. There is no suspect information at this time.


 

Officers stopped a vehicle in the intersection of West 5th Street and South Moniteau Avenue for having expired registration Sunday morning. A computer check through Dispatch showed that driver's license had been expired since 2013. Angelia Ruth Asbury, 46, of Sedalia, was taken into custody, booked and released from the Pettis County Jail pending the filing of formal charges of Operating a Motor Vehicle on a Highway Without a Valid License.


 

Friday evening, Officers responded to the 800 block of Crescent Drive in reference to harassment. The victim stated he was being harassed via messages. The suspects have been named but not contacted at this time.


 

Early Sunday morning, Officers conducted a vehicle stop in the area of East Jackson Street and North Hill Avenue for a registration violation. During the course of the investigation, contraband was located in the vehicle. The contraband was taken to the Police Department and entered into evidence to be destroyed.


 

Sedalia Police responded to the 200 block of East Walnut Street Saturday night in reference to a hit and run accident. Keyshawn T. Williams reported that their vehicle was sideswiped while it was parked. At this time, a suspect has not been identified.


 

Friday night, Officers observed a vehicle drift into a turn lane. Officers conducted a stop on the vehicle on West 16th Street near South Limit Avenue. During the course of the investigation, it was determined the driver was intoxicated. Jason P. Herrick, 40, of Sedalia, was transported to the BRHC for a blood draw. Herrick was then transported back to the Police Department where he was fingerprinted, issued a Uniform Traffic Ticket for Driving While Intoxicated with a court date, and then released to a sober driver.


 

Saturday evening, Officers responded to the 1400 block of East 15th Street in reference to a warrant check. Officers made contact with a male subject, identified him, and ran his information through Dispatch. It was confirmed the male subject had a no bond warrant out of Benton County for felony Failure to Appear on original charges of Stealing and Leaving the Scene of an Accident. Dakota Wynn Bradley, 28, of Sedalia, was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail, where he was booked on his warrant.


 

Early Saturday morning, Officers observed a silver car weaving while travelling southbound on South Limit Avenue. Officers conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle near South Limit Avenue and Plaza Drive. During the course of the investigation, it was determined the driver was intoxicated. Anita S. Banakh, 23, of Sedalia, was arrested and transported to the Sedalia Police Department. There, she provided a breath sample that showed her BAC was above 0.08. Banakh was issued a UTT for Driving While Intoxicated and released to a sober driver.


 

Sedalia Police were dispatched to the T-Mobile store, 4401 Wisconsin Avenue Saturday evening for a report theft incident. Katila Petts reported a cell phone was taken from the business. The suspect is unknown at this time.


 

Friday evening, Officers were dispatched to Vermont Park, 1400 South Vermont Avenue, in reference to a possible weapon offense. The caller reported two juveniles may have presented a pistol and a knife in the park.


 

Officers responded to the 100 block of East 3rd Street Saturday morning for a report of vandalism. It was discovered that the suspect had vandalized multiple buildings in the area, causing $1500 in damages. The suspect was located and taken into custody. Justin D. Woolery, 35, Homeless, was later discovered to be in possession of marijuana and paraphernalia. Woolery was taken to the Pettis County Jail and placed on a 24 hour hold pending charges of Property Damage in the 2nd Degree, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.


 

Saturday morning, Officers responded to the lobby of the Police Department for a report of harassment. The victim said the suspect was threatening to disseminate sexually explicit images of the victim on the internet. The victim wished to pursue charges for Threatening Nonconsensual Dissemination of Private Sexual Images.


 

Sedalia Police performed a warrant check on a subject at the Motel 6, 3402 West Broadway Boulevard Saturday morning. A check through Dispatch showed the subject had an active warrant from Pettis County. Jamila T. Jordan, 26, of Sedalia, was arrested for her Failure to Appear warrant on original charges of Driving While Revoked. Jordan was transported to the Pettis County Jail and was booked one her warrant with a cash only bond of $250.


 

Friday morning, Officers were dispatched to the 1600 block of East Boonville Street in reference to a theft report. Tina L. Seifner stated a flute she loaned to someone was sold by that person without their permission.


 

Early Saturday morning, Officers initiated a warrant check in the 200 block of East 2nd Street. A subject was located with a Pettis County warrant with a $15,000 cash or surety bond. Christopher Joseph Hart, 33, was arrested for his warrant on charges of felony Unlawful Use of a Weapon, felony Assault in the 3rd Degree, and felony Armed Criminal Action.


 

Friday evening, Officers were dispatched to the 3100 block of Brianna Boulevard for a public service. A general information report was completed about the incident. There was no further information in the report.


 

Sedalia Police were dispatched to a home in the 1200 block of West 5th Street in reference to found property Friday morning. The items were determined to have been stolen from a car in the 400 block of South Park Avenue and were returned to their owner. There are no suspects at this time.


 

On the afternoon of October 20th, Officers took a report over the phone from Steven B. Lee in regards to fraudulent use of a credit card, resulting in $447.52 being used illegally at the Wal Mart Store, 3201 West Broadway Boulevard.


 

Saturday evening, Officers were dispatched to the AT&T store, 3185 West Broadway Boulevard, for a report of a theft. Logan Dallas reported a cell phone was taken. The suspect is unknown at this time.


 

Friday morning, Sedalia Police responded to Jim's Express Tire, 200 Winchester Drive, in reference to a theft. Upon arrival, Officers met with management, who stated a catalytic converter was cut off of a customer's vehicle sometime in the last two days. At the time of the report, the suspect has not been identified.


 

Sedalia Police went to the 400 block of East 7th Street Friday morning to look for a suspect who had an active warrant for his arrest. Upon arrival, Officers made contact with said subject and relayed his information to Dispatch. Dispatch confirmed the warrant for his arrest was active. David L. Paxton, 60, of Sedalia, was arrested for his warrant on charges of felony Child Molestation in the 1st Degree and transported to the Pettis County Jail. Paxton was given a court date and bond was set at $25,000 cash or surety.
