Sedalia Traffic Stop Leads To Arrest Of Fugitive

Sedalia Police attempted to conduct a vehicle check at Duke Manufacturing in the area of West Main Street and Winchester Drive Wednesday evening.

But the vehicle left the lot and after turning east on West Main Street, police noticed it was parked at Consolidated Electrical Distributors, 101 Winchester Drive.

Officers made contact with the vehicle and the driver. Vladimir T. Shalnev, 33, of Sedalia, was arrested for Driving While Revoked, a Failure to Appear warrant for Driving While Revoked, and another warrant for Driving While Revoked. Shalnev also had a warrant out of Texas with a $5,000 bond.

Shalnev was transported to the Pettis County Jail.
